    The Kick Start Service is a coaching service of Business Influence. It has been developed specifically for start up businesses.

    Purpose

    The purpose of the Kick Start Service is to support business owners that are about to start up their own business, or who have only recently commenced business. The aim of the Kick Start Service is to assist owners in ensuring their new business not only survives but thrives.

    The Kick Start Service provides hands-on support to the owners and their team in navigating the business through the myriad of hurdles and challenges that face every newly established business.

    The strategic aim of the Kick Start Service is to guide the business from infancy to adolescence.

    Structure

    The Kick Start Service includes regular structured face-to-face sessions together with the business owner. These are generally held at a neutral venue (if you do not yet have business premises) or at your business premises. As well as attending our meetings together, I spend additional preparatory and follow-up time between meetings. This is further complemented by ongoing phone and email contact.

    Initially you identify the targets (where) and goals (what) you want to achieve. I then help you develop the actions (how) that will assist you to achieve these targets and goals. We identify who is accountable for completing these actions within the business (who) and nominate a deadline for completion (when).

    Start-up businesses, or recently established businesses, have unique challenges. We understand that survival and growth are issues critical to you. Tight cashflow, limited resources, few clients and little available time are just a few of the problems facing start-up businesses. With that in mind, we facilitate and guide you in the implementation of time critical actions and initiatives.
     
    As CEO of a start-up company, I originally got Darren in to help with strategy in preparing a Business Plan to present to our international affiliates. From even our earliest discussions, Darren was able to identify key issues of importance, facilitate discussion within the management group and determine an action plan forward.     The Growth Service is a coaching service of Business Influence. It has been developed specifically for owners of established small & medium businesses.

    Purpose

    The purpose of the Growth Service is to help small & medium business owners maximise the 4 P's in their business Profit, Productivity, People and Performance. It is designed for owners and management teams wanting to dramatically improve their business performance but who don't know the most effective strategies to achieve this.

To ensure this all runs smoothly we have a one page quarterly plan that is supported by action plans. In addition to our regular meetings, we introduce a structured and ongoing series of internal meetings. These internal meetings are to ensure that your prioritised goals are attended to and implemented by the management team.

    I ensure my clients have a One-Page Strategic Plan that forces them to focus on their three to five quarterly priorities. Against these priorities we identify team members that are accountable for achieving each priority. Through our monthly sessions and follow-up actions, we work together in supporting the team to succeed. By working on what's most important to you, we ensure that initiatives are implemented. This motivates and inspires you and your team to tackle the next priority with vigour and focus on growing the business together.

    Everybody in business is different. That's why you take on as much or as little as you choose. A significant amount of the learning, development and change actually occurs in between meetings through you and your team completing your follow-up actions.
    Succession Service
    The Succession Service is a coaching & mentoring service of Business Influence. It has been developed specifically for owners of mature small & medium businesses preparing for succession or sale of the business.

    Purpose

    The purpose of the Succession Service is to help small & medium business owners prepare for business succession. It is designed for owners and management addressing business succession but who need help facilitating the succession process.

    The Succession Service aims to guide existing businesses from maturity to succession.

    Initially we analyse the timeframe and exit scenarios together. I then work closely with you to facilitate preparing the business for succession or sale. This may involve developing plans internally with key team members. It also normally involves the introduction of external specialists to provide expert advice in certain key areas.

    I ensure my clients have a plan that forces them to focus on their key steps towards succession. In developing these steps, we identify team members or external parties that are accountable for supporting the implementation of each step. Through our regular sessions and follow-up actions, we work together in preparing the business for sale or succession. By mapping out each step of the succession process, we ensure that initiatives are implemented. This structure helps you and your team tackle the next priority with vigour and focus on preparing the business for sale or succession together.

    All succession plans are unique. That's why we tailor the Succession Service to the specific needs of your business. After developing a succession plan, we work closely together to facilitate the plan through to its ultimate succession.
